White night - estepona 2026

The pop-rock group Maldita Nerea, star attraction of the 'White Night' program 2026 in Estepona

During this cultural event, which will be held on Saturday, June 6, the city's museum spaces can be visited free of charge from 8:00 p.m. to midnight, in addition to enjoying workshops, conferences, music, poetry, theater, street performances or dance.

The Estepona Town Hall has announced that the next edition of 'La Noche en Blanco' (White Night) will take place on Saturday, June 6th. The Councillor for Culture and Festivals, Macarena Diánez, has announced that the band Maldita Nerea will headline the concert, which will be held in Plaza del Ajedrez (Chess Square) starting at 11:00 PM.

The 2026 White Night will offer a variety of free cultural and leisure activities. At the former Adult Education Center on Terraza Street, a laughter therapy workshop will be led by Isabela Méndez, an actress, storyteller, multifaceted artist, writer, and laughter therapist. Meanwhile, at the Casa de las Tejerinas, a creative workshop on painting fabric fans will be led by María Rupa, head of the 'Arte un plan' project. Both workshops have a limited capacity of 25 people per session, at 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. To register, please send an email to cursoscultura@estepona.es by June 4th, specifying your name and contact information, as well as the name of the workshop and your preferred time slot.

The Library of Contemporary Cultures at Mirador del Carmen will host the lecture “Dressing Emotion: The Eternity of David Delfín” at 8:30 p.m. The event offers an opportunity to rediscover the late designer, whose influence remains strong among new generations of artists and designers. Registration is required and can be done by emailing bcc@estepona.es.

Other varied activities at White Night will include the parade “The Land of Wonders,” which will depart at 9:00 p.m. from the Orchidarium Botanical Park. Following the parade, attendees can enjoy a vibrant and energetic dance performance by the Ocean School of Dance and Acrobatics, directed by Laura and Sara Perea. The show will blend styles such as modern dance, contemporary dance, and acrobatics, culminating in a performance inspired by Beyoncé.

As for music, the Magnum Mysterium Choir of Estepona will offer the concert entitled "Sounds of light and color" at 9:30 p.m. in Plaza San Francisco, under the direction of Miguel Ángel Garrido Sánchez, with piano accompaniment by Brigitta Kovács and the performance, as soloist, of soprano Isabel Moreno.

In addition, Plaza Manilva will host the poetry recital 'Through the Light. A narrated flamenco opera', with the artist Fernando Vacas and the narrator Juan Antonio Bernier, which will have the collaboration of the Lourdes Bazán Dance School, local branch of the Flamenco School of Andalusia.

Theater will also take center stage this cultural evening with a performance of the hilarious comedy 'Fly Fly' at 10:00 PM in the Plaza del Reloj. It's a chance to discover the adventures of the handsome Bernardo and his three flight attendants.

During White Night, several museums in the city will offer free admission to the public from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. According to the Councilor for Historical Heritage, Daniel García, the Casa de las Tejerinas will host the contemporary art exhibition 'Homage to Mario Algaze,' from the private collection of Jorge Reynardus, as well as painting exhibitions by the artist and designer Isabelle Taieb Nicolaï and Pilar Ruíz Manso, a Burgos native based in Estepona. The Castle of San Luis will also be open during these extended hours. Those interested in visiting the Interpretation Center of the Megalithic Necropolis of Corominas, located in San Isidro Labrador Municipal Park, can enjoy a guided tour at 8:00 p.m., after registering by calling 675 942 975.

The municipal head of Culture and Festivals encourages all citizens to participate in all the free activities for this Saturday, and to enjoy the valuable exhibition and heritage spaces that Estepona has to offer at night.
