Creative writing workshop "getting out of lethargy, setting the plot in motion" by barbara arena
On March 17th at 8 pm, writer Bárbara Arena will lead the creative writing workshop "Breaking Out of Lethargy, Activating the Plot," aimed at those interested in developing their narrative projects. The workshop will cover tools to unlock the creative process, activate dramatic conflicts, and strengthen the internal structure of stories, inviting participants to explore new perspectives and expressive resources.
Bárbara Arena was born in Madrid in 1988 and has built her career in communications, working for various agencies and currently as a freelancer. She rose to fame on social media and currently writes about popular culture for Vogue. With 'Un adiós' (A Goodbye), Arena makes her literary debut with a love story, the tale of a family marked by a tragic event that shatters their destiny, and a story set against the backdrop of Spain's oldest and most powerful past.
Attendance at the presentation is free until capacity is reached. To participate in the creative writing workshop, prior registration is required via email to the Library of Contemporary Cultures at bcc@estepona.es.
With this initiative, the City Council continues to strengthen the municipality's cultural program and offer quality literary proposals in a space that is a reference point for culture and contemporary thought.
