
Estepona experiences its streets 2025
'Estepona Vive sus Calles' will return this autumn with Los Secretos, the show 'Locura Parapa', and more than a dozen cultural activities.
It will take place from October 10 to 12 and, among other activities, will include the celebration of the 1st Octopus Fair, performances by 'La Insostenible Big Band' and the Benavente Theater, a pasodoble competition, a concert by the quartet 'Con Brío' and the copla by Roberto Aragón.
Macarena Diánez, Councilor for Culture and Festivals, today presented a new autumn edition of "Estepona, Live its Streets." This event aims to host cultural and leisure activities for all audiences in various locations throughout the city, for the enjoyment of residents and tourists alike.
The municipal official detailed the program of activities that will take place from October 10th to 12th, including the first edition of the Octopus Fair, an initiative promoted by the City Council in collaboration with José María Téllez "Popi," in which local establishments will showcase their finest fish, mollusks, and crustaceans. The fair will take place over three days, from 12:00 to 22:00, on Calle Real.
On Friday afternoon at 7:00 p.m., the exhibition "The Procession Goes Inside" by Sevillian artist Manuel León will open on Terraza Street. It consists of 17 totems printed with images from his creative work.
As for entertainment, the event includes a concert by the choir "Love to Sing" to benefit the Cudeca Foundation, on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the Mirador del Carmen; and a performance by the Malaga-based swing-jazz band, "La Insostenible Big Band," at 8:00 p.m. in El Calvario Park. The councilor also highlighted the show "Locura PARAPA," also on Friday the 10th, starting at 9:00 p.m., in the outdoor area of the Mirador del Carmen. The party will be hosted by Carlos Moreno "El Pulpo," an adopted son of Estepona, with electronic music, dancing, sports, giveaways, and lots of fun.
For the little ones, on Saturday, from 12:00 to 18:00, there will be a party in Plaza García Caparrós with giant games, fairground rides, inflatable games, sports and classic games, workshops, and much more.
As part of the "Sharing Cultures" program, aimed at promoting the integration and participation of foreign residents, Latin American Culture Day will be celebrated outside the Mirador del Carmen, starting at 12:00 p.m. on the 11th. Until 11:00 p.m., the foreign population will share their customs, traditional festivals, and culinary culture.
On Saturday afternoon, at 6:00 p.m., students from the Ocean Dance and Acrobatics School, directed by sisters Laura and Sara Perea, will perform a dance show on Terraza Street; and at 8:00 p.m., the Benavente Theater will perform the comedy "Vis a Vis en Hawai" in Plaza del Reloj.
And finally, on Saturday, starting at 10:00 p.m., at the Plaza del Ajedrez, there will be a concert by the group led by Álvaro Urquijo, 'Los Secretos,' one of the most influential and beloved bands on the Spanish music scene.
Sunday's program will begin with a pasodoble competition with live music from the Metrópolis Orchestra, starting at 12:00 noon in Plaza Antonia Guerrero, and will continue with a concert by the string quartet "Con Brío" in Plaza Manilva at 1:00 p.m.
The finale of 'Estepona Lives its Streets in Autumn' will be provided by Roberto Aragón, at 7:00 p.m., in the Plaza del Reloj, with a tribute concert to copla, accompanied by fellow Estepona artist Miguel Salas.
