"estepona through mobile" photography competition for young people
The City Council is launching the 'Estepona via Mobile' photography competition for young people registered in the city.
The submission period will be open from May 6 to June 6, and is open to young people between the ages of 14 and 35.
Estepona City Council has launched the "Estepona Through Mobile" Photography Competition. This competition is aimed at young people and aims to promote photography in the municipality as a means of cultural expression for young people, foster awareness of their surroundings, and simultaneously showcase the creativity of young people.
The Councilor for Youth, Julia Simón, explained that the subject of the photograph is open, although it must depict any point in Estepona. The photograph must be taken between May 6 and June 6, 2025, so participants must set up their equipment with the corresponding date and time. Young participants must take photographs of objects, areas, corners, spaces, and/or landscapes that are of interest due to their unique beauty and that are located within the municipality of Estepona. They must also include a brief text explaining why they took the photograph.
Young people registered in Estepona at the time of application and between the ages of 14 and 35 who will be born in 2025 are eligible to participate.
Three prizes will be awarded to the three participants with the highest scores:
1st PRIZE: 300 euros.
2nd PRIZE: 200 euros.
3rd PRIZE: 100 euros.
The photographs must be submitted along with the registration form (Annex I of the contest rules, which can be found at www.estepona.es) to the email address juventud@estepona.es
