Film club: toni, with the family
Estepona City Council announces that the Culture Department's Film Club continues its spring season with a screening of the French film 'Toni, en famille' (2023), a dramatic comedy about a mother who wants to change her life, directed by Nathan Ambrosioni, starring Camille Cottin, Léa Lopez, Thomas Gioria, and Louise Labèque, among others.
The screening will take place next Thursday, March 24th, at 8:00 PM, at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center. The screening will be in its original French version with Spanish subtitles. Admission is free until full capacity is reached. The Alliance Française of Málaga is collaborating.
Synopsis: Toni is raising her five children alone. She works full-time and sings in bars at night because she has to feed the family. Toni has talent. She recorded a hit single, but that was 20 years ago. Today, as her two oldest children prepare for college, Toni wonders what she'll do when all her children have left home. And if at 42, she still has time to take control of her life.
