Exhibition: juanma parra moreno "parramo"
Estepona Town Hall informs that Room 2 of Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in Plaza de las Flores, will host a painting exhibition by the artist Juanma Parra Moreno 'Párramo' from next Thursday, January 16.
The painting exhibition, entitled 'The Awakening', is made up of 11 large-format works, using various techniques and themes, including the seven wonders of the modern world, such as the Taj Mahal Palace, the ruins of Machu Picchu, the Colosseum in Rome, or the Great Wall of China, among others.
The exhibition will be open to the public until 29 January, from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; and on Saturdays, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free admission.
Juanma Parra Moreno 'Párramo' is a painter from Ronda. He considers his work to be a poetic proposal of reality. “It attracts its mastery and structural and conceptual complexity of an aesthetic only comparable to that of Leonardo.” The artist obtains from immobile and solid objects an expression of movement, of becoming and, in short, of life. “The work of art is a testimony of lived, interpreted reality, it is the intervention of thought in art. Color and matter, drawing, geometry, which transform reality, creating reliefs, volumes and a broad use of light. He is an artist with an exceptional technique, with a fertile mind, with a wealth of ideas and mastery of execution, but with a great special sensitivity and magic of execution. His colors are intense, pure, harmonized in a balanced way and with an important rhythm of composition.”
His many exhibitions include: Ronda 1973; Ronda 1975; Málaga Picasso Gallery 1978; Marbella 1983; Béjar: Salamanca and Soria Social Work Exhibition Hall 1993; Marbella: Hotel El Fuerte 2001; Ronda: Unicaja Social Work 2003; Ronda: Exhibition and Congress Centre 2013. He has also created numerous architectural designs throughout the Costa del Sol.
