Xxix book fair in summer
The Estepona City Council informs that the Paseo Marítimo will host the XXIX Summer Book Fair from Thursday, July 11, organized by the company 'Urbano Libros' in collaboration with the City Council. The opening ceremony will begin at 8:30 p.m., and will be attended by the writers Rafael Javier Pérez Pallarés and Francisco Quintero González, authors of the book 'Querido Teófilo'.
Until September 8, thousands of titles of all styles will be available to readers at very affordable prices. The fair's hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to midnight. It is a cultural option whose main characteristic is that 90% of the copies will have a price of no more than 5 euros. In this way, reading lovers will be able to acquire the latest novelties and literary successes, as well as stories, history books, remnants of editions, or out-of-print books that are difficult to find.
Furthermore, within the framework of the XXIX Summer Book Fair, four writers from Estepona will sign copies of their latest works on the Paseo Marítimo. On Saturday, July 20, at 9:00 p.m., the writer Lorena Jiménez Martín will sign copies of her latest collection of poems 'SolEdad. The light of the years'. Likewise, the young actor and writer Julio Peces Ruiz will sign his works 'The Nightfall Express' and 'The Sound of Silence'. It will be on Saturday, August 3 at 9:00 p.m.
On Friday, August 9, also at 9:00 p.m., it will be the turn of Antonio Mena González, who will present his new books 'I stole a kiss from you in the rain' and 'The season of forgotten hearts'.
Finally, Miguel López Ramírez will hold a meeting with readers and sign copies of his book 'Guiños en el alma', on Saturday, August 17 at 9:00 p.m.
