Garcia fajer foundation - "flower concert" by violinist "kameliya naydenova"

The García Fajer Foundation will welcome spring with 'The Four Seasons' by A. Vivaldi in the traditional 'Flower Concert'

The free concert will take place on Sunday, May 5, at 8:30 p.m., in the Orquidario Gardens with free access

The Estepona City Council informs that the García Fajer Foundation will offer next Sunday, May 5, at 8:30 p.m. in the Carmen Thyssen Gardens of the Orquidario Botanical Park, the traditional “Concert of the Flower”, with the interpretation of 'The Four Seasons 'by Antonio Vivaldi.

The concert will be performed by the Bulgarian violinist Kameliya Naydenova (soloist), together with the core formation of the Civitas Musicae String Orchestra, made up of two violins, a viola, two cellos and a harpsichord.

With this concert, organized since 2011 by the García Fajer Foundation, with the collaboration of the Estepona City Council, the Foundation unites two concepts in the same space: musical excellence and the aroma of a floral detail that will be given to attendees, to symbolize the arrival of spring.

Kameliya Naydenova . Born in Bulgaria, at the age of nine she gave her first solo concert. Since he was young he has been a finalist in numerous international violin competitions. She graduated from the National Academy of Music in Sofia and continued her studies in Berlin with Marianne Boettcher at the Universität der Künste (UDK).

In 2011 he graduated in Master of Arts from the Royal Academy of Music in London with Lydia Mordkovitch. He began his solo career at the age of 20 performing with several major international orchestras, such as the Royal Academy Symphony Orchestra, Bacau Philharmonic Orchestra and Ploiesti Philharmonic Orchestra, Udmurt Symphony Orchestra (Russia), Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra , Parma University Orchestra, etc... He regularly performs as a soloist and as a chamber musician in numerous prestigious concert halls and festivals around the world, such as ''B. Britten Theatre'' and the ''Duke's Hall'' in London, UDK Konzertsaal in Berlin, Concert Hall Ateneu in Romania, Teatro Barletti in Turin, Teatro Marcello in Rome, Ravello Festival Concert Society. He toured extensively with the Covent Garden Solists Orchestra as violin co-leader in 2010/2011 and has been a member of the Royal Academy Symphony Orchestra of London, New London Orchestra, NSO de Sofia, Fundasiòn Sinfonia for the Santo Domingo Music Festival, collaborating with conductors and world-renowned soloists such as: Sir Colin Davis, Benjamin Zander, Simon Rattle, Yan Pascal Tortelier, Joshua Bell, Gautier Capuçon. Naydenova has been invited by the Italian national broadcaster RAI as first violin of the Rai orchestra, for the live television program of the New Year 2018/2019 and 2020/2021.

In 2022 he collaborated on projects with the Orchestra of the Teatro Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, in Florence. In 2014 he gave a concert for the president of Bulgaria in Berlin. Naydenova gives frequent master classes in Italy and is also artistic director of the Carisma Musicale Association.

She is currently a violin teacher at the Salerno Conservatory of Music. In 2023 she joined the structure of the García Fajer Foundation, as a soloist and Full Professor of the Violin Chair of the International String Center of Excellence (CIEC).

Civitas Musicae String Orchestra (CMSO) is a project developed by the García Fajer Foundation, through the Chair of Orchestral Practice of the International String Center of Excellence (CIEC). The musical ensemble (CMSO), made up of 70 percent Bulgarian musicians, is the only orchestra in the world developed outside of Bulgaria by a non-Bulgarian private institution.
