The poet and declaimer María Ángeles Castillo Romero will present her latest book of poetry 'With green ink' at the Casa de Las Tejerinas

The Estepona City Council informs that the author María Ángeles Castillo Romero will present next Thursday, April 4, at 6:00 p.m. in the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Room of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, her latest literary work 'With green ink'.

From the collection 'Caura de Poesia', Jákara Editorial affirms that there is no more poetic and suggestive title to describe the day-to-day life of the author's creative space, with her deepest concerns, her thoughtful reflections, and her most intimate feelings. .

María Ángeles Castillo returns to the celestial hemisphere of poetry with this work, which leaves us with a relief after the long silence, and she does so out loud, like a primal cry, like an imperious need, as she is, powerful and without doubt. . Those who really know her know that she has given her all in the attempt, she has torn herself inside to give the best of herself, pure dedication and all generosity.

Because that is his poetry, “a whole heavenly song, but with the sound of the tides that break in the most abrupt gorge of its bowels. His defeated body no longer carries blood, it is the green ink that now governs his life and the only one capable of turning his work into a cry, to those who know how to listen to it.

María Ángeles Castillo Romero (Totalán, Málaga, 1976). I study administration. He has collaborated in different literary workshops in schools and institutes, as well as in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Malaga (Spanish Philology).

He directed the radio program 'A world called Poetry'. The Malaga Provincial Council and the Totalán City Council have published a book that includes his youth work 'From the Cradle of Totalán'. He has also participated in the 'International Meeting of Writers against Violence in Ciudad Juárez' (Mexico).

She was selected to participate in the international festival of the White Night of Granada 2013, 'Cosmopoética', and in the prestigious magazine 'Jizo'. He participated in 'Under the hat, Punto y seguir', on Radio Miami (USA). He collaborates with the program 'El Despertador' on Radio Victoria.

His poems have been collected internationally in the anthology 'La luna en Verso' and in the Humanities Magazine 'Jizo' (No. 9-10. Second edition of Granada's Noche en Blanco).

He has been part of various poetry and declamation award juries. She has been included in multiple literary groups and her work has won various First Prizes. The last First Prize received was in the XXXIII Casa de Melilla Poetry Contest. Today he coordinates the musical-poetic event 'Days of Poetry' of the Provincial Council of Málaga, intervening in the municipalities of Monda, Coín, Antequera, Alhaurín El Grande, Vélez-Málaga and Archidona, to disseminate the poetry collection Puerta del Collection Sea.

It is also part of the Literary Anthology 'Dreams and Secrets' of Argentina, disseminated throughout Latin America. He has won First Prize and National Declamation Prize 2014.
