The artists Mónica Aveni and Sandra Mariño show their pictorial work at La Casa de Las Tejerinas

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday, March 21, at 6:00 p.m., and can be visited until April 10 with free access

The Estepona City Council informs that Room 1 of Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host a joint painting exhibition by the artists Mónica Aveni and Sandra Mariño from next Thursday, March 21. The pictorial exhibition consists of a total of 57 works (31 by Mónica and 26 by Sandra) and will be inaugurated on the 21st at 6:00 p.m. It can be visited until April 10, from Tuesday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free access.

Ana Monica Aveni. Plastic artist. He was born in the province of Mendoza, Argentina, and currently resides in Estepona. He has studied General Art History, and has taken watercolor classes, among other studies. His work appears in books such as 'The Current Event of Argentine Art', 'Outstanding Exponents of Argentine Art' and 'Argentine Artists'.

He has participated in the permanent exhibition Musée du Liberateur Général San Martin in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France. Embassy of Argentina in France; 'Patria Mía', Inventoried piece. Cataloged and registered in the Argentine Foreign Ministry, 2013; Auction of work 'Puerto Madero' Yacht Puerto Madero, INECO foundation. Award given by Dr. Facundo Manes, 2012; Rivadavia Hospital Mural - Windows of Buenos Aires, 2013; Ricardo Gutiérrez Hospital Mural, 2014; 'Steve Jobs' mural for IREP 2015; Galleria d'Arte Mentana (Firenze, Italy) 2016; Louvre Carrousel (Paris, France) 2017; 2nd Castle Biennale (Pagazzano, Italy) 2017; Group exhibition Palazzo San Teodoro (Venice, Italy) 2018; Collective exhibition Galleria d'Arte Associazione. Sandra Mariño Rey . Plastic artist, designer and restorer. Of Galician parents and grandparents, he was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and currently resides in Estepona, where his family comes from. In her country she studied Graphic Design, Illustration, Drawing and Live Painting, and Painting and Abstract Art, and worked as a graphic and textile designer, artistic painter, and publicist.

Based in Spain since 2000, she is dedicated to the restoration, redesign, transformation and decorative painting of furniture and objects, mural painting, teaching painting techniques classes and restorative treatment of furniture. His treatment of the trompe l'oeil mural and logo design for individuals and companies is especially notable.
