The Estepona City Council informs that the Cinema-Club of the Culture delegation will continue the autumn cycle next Thursday, November 23, at 8:00 p.m., at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, with the screening of the Kingdom film Joined 'Downton Abbey: A New Age' (2022).
It is a sequel to the film adaptation of the popular series, and is directed by Simon Curtis, with Hugh Bonneville, Samantha Bond, Maggie Smith and Elizabeth McGovern, among others.
Synopsis: Violet, the Dowager Countess of Grantham, has inherited a villa in the south of France from an old friend. Meanwhile, a filmmaker gets Mary's permission to shoot a movie at Downton Abbey. Robert thinks that having actors and actresses running around, wearing makeup, is a terrible idea, but other members of the family, and the servants, are delighted with the idea. To miss Mary's "horrible movie," as Robert calls it, some family members travel to the south of France to solve the mystery of why Violet's friend left her a villa.
The screening will be in the original version in English, subtitled in Spanish, with free admission until capacity is reached.
