Dance season - summer 2022
The City Council programs dance shows for summer nights.
Parque El Calvario, Plaza Antonia Guerrero and Plaza del Reloj will be the dance stages for the performances on Tuesdays.
The Estepona City Council informs that different public spaces, such as Parque El Calvario, Plaza Antonia Guerrero and Plaza del Reloj, will be the stage throughout the summer for dance performances by dance students, mostly , of the different municipal academies located in the Padre Manuel Cultural Center, framed in the 'Cultural Summer 2022' program, and which includes numerous activities aimed at all types of audiences.
The performances, free access, are as follows:
Tuesday, July 19, at 9:30 p.m., in the Plaza Antonia Guerrero. Flamenco show by the students of the Escuela de la Peña Flamenca de Estepona, under the direction of the dance and guitar teachers, Antonio Trujillo and José Fernández, respectively.
Tuesday, July 26, at 9:30 p.m., in the Plaza Antonia Guerrero. Performance by the Spanish Dance and Flamenco Classroom of the Culture delegation, directed by Lourdes Barrientos, and the Flamenco and Modern Dance Classroom of the Flamenco School of Andalusia, (EFA), whose headquarters are Lourdes Bazán's director.
Tuesday, July 26, at 9:30 p.m., in the Plaza del Reloj. The MT Dance School, directed by Martina Tessaro, presents a modern dance show with lyrical parts, Latin influences, classical technique with elements of Spanish dance.
Tuesday, August 2, at 9:30 p.m., in El Calvario Park. Performance by the Spanish Dance and Flamenco Classroom of the Culture delegation, directed by Eva Alarcón.
Tuesday, August 9, at 9:30 p.m., in the Plaza Antonia Guerrero. Performance by the students of the Ballroom Dance, Cabaret and Oriental Dance Classroom of the Culture delegation, directed by Mariví Rodríguez, and the Modern Dance and Flamenco group, with Claudia Ramírez “La Marivilla”.
Tuesday, August 16, at 9:30 p.m., in El Calvario Park. Performance of the students of the “=ES” (Equals) Dance Therapy Workshop of the Social Services and Social Integration delegation, directed by Inmaculada Chacón.
Tuesday, August 23, at 9:30 p.m., in the Plaza Antonia Guerrero. Performance of the Modern and Acrobatic Dance Group of Laura and Sara Perea.
Tuesday, August 30, at 9:30 p.m., in the Plaza Antonia Guerrero. Choreographic exhibition of Flamenco, Spanish Classical, Modern Dance, Classical Ballet… from the “La Milana” Dance Studio, directed by the dancer and singer Gemma Sánchez.
