Xxxv night of chess "city of estepona 2021"
The Estepona Promenade hosts the XXXV Night Chess "Ciudad de Estepona 2021"
The tournament includes six independent tournaments, will distribute 32 trophies and 100 medals, and will be held on August 5, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Estepona, July 1, 2021.- The Estepona City Council informs that the registration period for the XXXV Night Chess Trophy “Ciudad de Estepona†2021 is open, whose celebration will take place next Thursday, August 5, from 8:00 p.m. at 11:00 pm, on the Paseo MarÃtimo.
Six independent tournaments will be played: Mixed categories (by year of birth), Swiss Tournament, Lightning: 10 minutes per player:
1st Tournament: Smurfs, 5-round tournament
2nd Tournament: U-8, 5-round tournament
3rd Tournament: U-10, 6-round tournament
4th Tournament: U-12, 6-round tournament
5th Tournament: Under-14-16, Seniors, 6-round tournament
6th Tournament: 65+ years, 5-round tournament
The awards ceremony, 32 trophies and 100 medals, will begin with the lower categories: there will be trophies for the first three classified in each category and first female in each category, and medals for the 4th and 5th classified in each category. In addition, all Smurfs and U-8s will receive a medal for their participation.
