Casa de Las Tejerinas hosts the painting and sculpture exhibition 'Sueños Marinos' by Jorge & Elena
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday 26, at 6:30 p.m., and it can be visited until December 14, with free access.
The Estepona City Council informs that the artists Jorge Franco and Elena Franco will show the painting and sculpture exhibition 'Sueños Marinos' in Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, whose inauguration will take place next Saturday, November 26, at 6:00 p.m.: 30 hours.
The exhibition is made up of a total of eleven paintings and nine sculptures, and can be visited from Thursday, November 24, to December 14, from Tuesday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. :00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free access.
Jorge Franco Jiménez was born in Marbella in 1977 and has always been interested in art and painting. He has taken child coaching courses and is currently studying a Master's Degree in Exhibitions and Cultural Events and a Master's Degree in Valuation of Works of Art.
He grew up near the sea; Since he was little, he was interested in telling stories with comic-style illustrations, which is why his works always have a story behind them, with bright and striking colors, his themes are always very expressive. Since he was young, he has always been fascinated by the power that the mind exercises over art, specifically drawing and painting. Until he read the work written by Betty Edwards "learn to draw with the right side of the brain", and he was so enthusiastic that in his classes his students use the same techniques that he learned.
For her part, Elena Franco was born in the Krasnoyarsk region, Russia, in 1976, although she currently resides in Spain. She is a lawyer, but her passion for art led her to unite her energy with Jorge to create her most important project: Art Gallery Franko.
Painting has been her passion since she was a child. He graduated from the Art School named after the Russian painter Vasiliy Ivanovich Surikov, in Krasnoyarsk. The main themes of his artworks are travel and nature, as well as abstract art and portraiture. Love for life and painstaking painting of the world - that's what he tries to show in his paintings. All his works are very emotional, filled with positive, life-affirming energy and special lyricism. The color palette and the composition of the paintings created by this artist sometimes go beyond the format.
