The XXVII Book Fair will host in August the presentation of the new literary works by Javier González Valdearcos and Estefanía Torres

The Summer Book Fair in Estepona began on Wednesday, July 20, and will remain on the Paseo Marítimo until September 11, with hours from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.

The Estepona City Council informs that the writer from Zaragoza, Javier González Valdearcos, will sign copies of his book on respect for ancestors, 'La Reliquia de Cheyenne', the second volume of the 'Hijos del Lobo' trilogy, next Thursday, August 11, at at 9:00 p.m., at the XXVII Summer Book Fair held on the Paseo Marítimo.

A great admirer of authors as diverse as Jack London, Kathleen O'Neil Gear, Ken Follet, Harlan Coben or Dean Koontz, Javier decided to bring his dream to life and wrote his first film: 'La Aurora Sioux', the first title of the trilogy, which will close with 'El Fuego Pawnee'.

Likewise, the writer Estefanía Torres will sign copies of her book, 'Alumbramiento', on Thursday, August 25, at 9:00 p.m. Born in La Línea de la Concepción, Cádiz, in 1983, the author has lived her entire life between Fuengirola and Casares, where she currently resides, and works as a computer systems administration technician in a public administration. 'Alumbramiento' is his first published work; as she defines it, it is “an exercise in emotional calligraphy” about the birth of her son.

The XXVII Summer Book Fair, organized by the company 'Urbano Libros', in collaboration with the municipal delegation of Culture of the Estepona City Council, started on July 20 with the assistance of the writer Juan Gaitán, who presented 'Blue Animal' , a book that collects a series of poems in which the author considers the poetic fact itself, the search for the poem, its relationship with silence, with the word and with writing. The author from Malaga was accompanied by his daughter, the philosophy teacher María Gaitán, who also presented the collection of poems 'Memorandum'.

The Book Fair will remain open until September 11, with thousands of titles of all styles that will be available to book lovers at very affordable prices, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. :00 hours.
