Silvana Orcese. Born in Buenos Aires, she has lived in Malaga for more than 22 years, although she works several months a year in the Nordic countries.

She considers herself a multicultural artist. The constant movement, his curiosity and personality, have made him experiment and apply different techniques; every time he is faced with a new medium, he brings it directly into his creativity.

In 1986 he started in the world of advertising design and in 1990 he began to participate in art workshops. At that time the works were mainly figurative, although several years ago he crossed the borders from figurative to abstract, and continued to paint in oil on canvas, mostly wood, investigating and taking risks with different materials, textures and collages. He also incorporated photography in some of his works.

Currently she is very dedicated and passionate about an ancient technique, encaustic (engraving by fire); He feels he can paint and sculpt at the same time, using the beeswax as a binder, pigments, and fusing the layers with fire.
