Exhibition: "cobachotix project" chess
The Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, will host next Friday, October 30, at 7 pm, the exhibition of 'Cobachotix Project' Chess. This project brings together 32 contemporary artists, local, national and international, from all disciplines, from visual artists to poets, around as many figures of a giant chess board, whose pieces have been artistically modified, according to the free style of each Author.
The entire "imaginary board" will be displayed in the order in which they are found in the same chess game, in a single space, so that each piece can be viewed closely. In addition to turning around the artistic element, the combination of ideas is finally the argument to enhance the final message: the contrast generated by the different types of seeing around the same piece with different meaning. In addition, some of the artists have added to their piece a brief synopsis about what has inspired them to carry out their work, and what is the message they want to convey.
The sculptures will remain in Estepona until November 26, and can be seen from Tuesday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m., with free access.
